The hosts/owners were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The rooms were so clean and well maintained and the bed was really comfy.
Breakfast the next day was cooked to perfection. All round a brilliant experience. Will definitely consider coming back and will also be recommending to friends.

Very impressed with this beautiful guest house. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and covid measures were first rate. Breakfast was delicious and home made jam, honey and sausages made this a cut above the normal. Hosts were friendly and clearly take a huge pride in their business. I recommend very highly and if in the area again we’ll rebook.
Tips for other travellers
Visited Abbotsford, Sir Walter Scott’s residence, strongly recommend a visit. Beautiful gardens and grounds, food excellent. Had an evening meal at the Caddymann restaurant, food was excellent, staff friendly and covid measures in place.
